2017 Mazda CX-9 Holds Up Well Under Long-Term Scrutiny, According to MotorWeek

Last year, the next generation of the Mazda CX-9 debuted. Along with it came some firsts for the nameplate. For one, it adapted the brand’s eye-catching Soul of Motion design language, and SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY—which favors eye-catching looks, fuel-sipping engines, and stellar driving dynamics. Recently, Motorweek set out to see how these new additions would hold up for the long haul.

The new CX-9 offers premium appeal, a mainstream price tag, and a turbocharged inline-four with a lot of torque and class-leading efficiency. On top of that, top-level trims get Nappa leather and authentic Japanese rosewood for a feel miles above the price tag. But where some other mainstream models that approach their vehicles this way don’t hold up, the CX-9 has with bells on. None of the SUV’s functionality lost its charm or ease of use along the way, and MotorWeek mentioned that it never sat idle for long on their lot.

The CX-9 is an SUV that you’ll love to drive, whether you’re hauling the kids, or by yourself running errands. Contact our Mazda dealership in Orlando, FL to schedule a test drive whenever it’s convenient.
